The first AFEPA summer school took place on the UCL campus in Louvain-la-neuve, Belgium, from July 18-28, 2011 and was attended by the 17 students from the first intake of the AFEPA programme.
The summer school opened with a one day symposium on “Experiences in policy analysis and advices” (Click here for the symposium’s programme).

The first one consisted of a Visit of the European Commission, Brussels on July 25
and the second on July 27 of a visit to a dairy farm (Ferme La Baillerie in Bousval), followed by a goat farm (Ferme du Château, Bois-Seigneur-Isaac) and concluding with a visit to a local brewery.
